Project Summary

,, If we were a teacher ,, project is addressed to teachers and 9-13 years old students from Romania, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Croatia. Our project is created for raising the awareness about the “co-teaching” best practice for an effective partnership between teacher and students. The project is written for educators and 9-13 years old students from Romania, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Croatia.
Our main intention is to create a meaningful learning for all the students and to connect the strategies of teaching-learning-evaluation to students’ every day life . Children always have many questions, such as ,,Why do we need to learn? Why do we need homeworks? This is the reason we decided to create our project for our students, in order to make them the real beneficiaries of the learning process. We realize that our students, no matter what aged are, are eager to feel appreciation form the part of the teachers , and they also need some good answers of their personal problems and experiences.
As experienced adults, combining experience and theoretical informations, every teacher must think more about what are the requirements of our world in order to ensure an effective learning process for the students. Our students are more and more eager to live in the present, they are always searching an interactive and animated atmosphere during lessons and in the school activities , so we built our project for empowering our students responsibility for their personal learning process. They will be recognized as experts and get involved in the educational process as facilitators.
We intend to use in our project activities a reality-pedagogy approach based on building chances for all educators and students to work together as a real team in the process of a designing part.By building a student-centred approach, all the participants involved in project events will have better understanding of the lesson objectives and will also become more relied to the learning results. We intend also to pay attention in building a better school atmosphere by changing school spaces, classes or seats in classes.
Students involved in all the project implementation will become conscious about their worth and will discover also their big importance in designing and planning educational events. Students will realize that their work is appreciated at an international level, through the toolkit built especially for sharing our knowledge and best practices on how to determine students to be an active part of the planning lessons process.
Our project is intended to 50% of the number of students from all 5 schools involved in the specific activities.
