Project Summary

Social entrepreneurs were taken to satisfy social needs or resolve social problems through sustainable systems which was established and brought off. Today, this new wave of social entrepreneurship utilizes a bottom-up approach rather than top-down affecting government politics and the society. Young people were made cognizant of the fact that social entrepreneurs are individuals or teams having innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems and that they should be ambitious and tenacious enough to tackle major social events and provide new ideas for broad-scale modification. The whole consortium is aware of the great importance to Young Students so they become engaged in social economy as the entrepreneurs of the near future. To accomplish our intention, the partnership aimed to develop the capacities of youth volunteers, workers, leaders and social entrepreneurs. In this project, the quality of Youth works was improved and therefore was contributed to the dissemination of youth works. The skills and knowledge of youth and youth workers, including women and the disadvantaged was developed with creative and innovative applications for social entrepreneurship. With cross-border cooperation in the field of social entrepreneurship, the proactive and solution-oriented approach of the youth was enhanced. It was aimed in the Project that the capacities of youth workers and young people were developed in a sustainable way through activities in cooperation with the partners from Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Slovenia and Greece in the frame of Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership for the Youth. Furthermore, as planned in the project, partners from the above mentioned countries cooperated to contribute to the development of youth workers and young people on social entrepreneurship through the following training activities with non-formal learning techniques: Training Program Development activities, Facilitator on Social Entrepreneurship Training (FTP-SE) Program, and Ideation Camps.Objectives to be carried out throughout the project are as it follows:• to understand the first step on being an entrepreneur: the “want to be” spirit and “want to contribute to help”• to develop innovative and social entrepreneurial culture among young people• to explore the understanding the meaning, important actions and work of Social Entrepreneurship in partner countries• to create a space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and good practices in the field of Social Entrepreneurial learning among players in three fields: non-formal education, formal education and training.• to offer innovative methodology to develop a sustainable FTP-SE programme specific for Youth• to develop the capacities of Youth Workers to enable them to become facilitators for ideation camps.• to encourage Youth actions, non-formal learning and volunteering• to build the capacities of the departments of partner Universities, NGOs and Companies which take part in youth actions and other youth organizations that work with the members of the partnership• to enable Young people to participate to the active job markets through developing Social Entrepreneurship.
