Project Summary

With the deictic changes in information, communication, and technology, the role of teachers is changing and becoming more important in the digital age. The rapid innovation in and proliferation of technology has transformed economies into different dimension. Students who shape their future are supposed to adapt changing world by developing their digital competences to contribute and take place in the global economy. Thus, it has become vital for teachers to replace traditional educational methods with learning techniques based on digital learning tools and technologies. In this project , we aim to equip teachers with digital competences and digital teaching methods to enable them to integrate technology into their classroom and design digital learning environment for students.

The Uk, Turkey, Hungary, Lithuania and Romania are the partners of the project. During the implementation of the project, they target to develop creativity and thinking processes through the activities such as modern methods and techniques, STEAM curricula, digital softwares and teaching tools, robots and devices. Students will have opportunity to get acquainted with digital learning devices and tool such as , Virtual Reality headsets, STEAM kits and robots, Lego 2.0, ,tablets, smart phones and boards, Augmented Reality applications and the other software and devices and develop their basic digital skills by using hollistic approach, learning by doing, pair and group work activities. On the other side, teachers are going to discover new teaching methods and exchange lesson plans with their colleagues and European teachers. The project consists of 5 LTTs and Modern methods and techniques,STEAM education, Robotic for kindergarten, 3D Model for children and Digital Storytelling will be practiced during those LTTs. Project will also contribute to shape Europe’s digital future in accordance with EU’s core values. During the project, various dissemination tools such as seminar, traninings, social media etc will be used to reach European teachers to make use of the project for the digital transformation of their classroom
