With the help of this project, the acquiring of new skills of teachers and students in the field of electric-electronics, strengthening their personal growth and increasing the employment opportunities of our students is aimed.Our teachers and students, will have interest in the Smart Home Systems and Technologies, they will be environmental-conscious and be able to make use of practices contributing to our economy. They will do research, prepare pp presentations and represent at meetings the findings of their research to teachers and students of other countries. They will; watch and listen to the pp presentations of other teachers’ and students’ research participating in the meetings, make field trips to companies carrying out work on this topic; and make discussions on the topic. In this way the vocational knowledge, experience and skills of our teachers and students will be increased.The teachers working on the project will see the innovative and model practices of other kind of organizations in different countries and get to know new technologies on site. Our teachers will start to consider knowledge as the key to future growth and increase their own skills on this matter. Our returning teachers will explain this new information, used within the Union, to their colleagues in their own or surrounding schools, show pp presentations and perform the application of the materials used. The education quality of our schools will become the same as the other schools in the Union and the education quality will be improved. In future, our teachers will be more beneficial since they will be conveying their newly acquired knowledge to their students. Our students, who will be able to fulfil the needs of the sector, will become more preferable and thus will be employed more easily.In order to achieve these goals, international meetings will be held. At these meetings following subjects will be approached;• The representation of their countries, cities, schools and also the Smart Home Systems and Technologies’ application in their• The representation and examination of technologies used in Smart Home Systems• The representation and review of programming languages• The examination of basic level application examples with microcontrollers• The examination of the remote control of household electrical appliances • Getting KNX/EIB building control management training• Technical field trips; to companies carrying out work on this topic, to schools providing technical education and to laboratories A project website will be set up and after the project website has been shut down, the achieved results will continue to be published on our schools’ websites.Also dissemination activities will be carried out locally and regionally at circumjacent schools, organizations and nongovernmental organizations. Each school will send letter about the project, to the ministry they are affiliated to in order to carry out dissemination activity on national level. As a result teachers, students, students’ parents, sector representatives and our community will be able to benefit from the results of this project on a local, regional and national level.
