Project Summary

How do our heritages, which nevertheless define a unique identity specific to each of our respective countries and regions, unite us?

Our entire educational community remains unanimous on the interest of developing openness and all types of international educational exchanges around identity themes that testify to the richness of our local heritage, whether architectural, gastronomic and from the Terroir or even cultural.

The notions of cultural openness, of sharing linguistic, cognitive and human experiences are, for students as for the entire educational community, at the very heart of the principle of the educational project linked to a school exchange. Whatever his school situation or his involvement in the educational system, for the student, the pleasure of discovering and making discover and appreciate the riches of a heritage of which he can marvel or be proud, is a real driver of motivation and success: this is the whole issue of our daily work to fight against dropping out of school. By giving it the mission to account for the wealth that surrounds it while giving a concrete meaning to its pedagogical approach, we will make the student active in its cultural, linguistic and human exchange.
The very different heritages of our three countries, Spain, France and Greece, nevertheless bring us together in many ways.
More than economic, commercial or tourist ferments, our architectural, gastronomic and cultural heritage is for our regions and for those who live there true cultures.
These exchanges should allow the invitation to discover, promote and exchange experiences of our local specificities: in Bordeaux as in Andalusia, or in Greece, architectural heritages as monumental as exceptional often classified as UNESCO World Heritage, a gastronomic culture of the products of the Terroir, a history as breathtaking as a bubbling cultural life.

Each school will be able to provide its students with at least one mobility in each partner country with a view to cultural and linguistic exchange.

Each school will have and will give access to its students and to the partner establishments, during the various mobilities, a discovery of the local heritage thanks to guided visits of monuments and architectural vestiges, museums and other emblematic places testifying to the history of the region, of farms or companies at the heart of local products.

In this way, pupils will be able to discover the cultural differences but above all the links which unite an individual to his environment and his history, which, beyond borders, deserve to be discovered and shared. Because everyone’s heritage is above all the heritage of humanity, it finds its meaning in sharing and exchange which gives it its universal dimension.
Real actors of their exchanges, the pupils of each school will propose, in particular during the visits of the other partner schools, to their correspondents and to all the educational community a work of exposure on the heritages of their region and will be able to organize certain visits commented thanks the fruit of their research and their discoveries.

Three study axes will articulate the proposed problem according to the Pedagogical Paths associated with cycle 4 of the common competence base in France:
– An axis linked to Languages for learning: Exhibition work/Presentation of local architectural, gastronomic and cultural specificities (individual and collective project competence).
– An axis linked to Natural and Technical Systems that will allow students to question environmental aspects (pollution, climate change and impact on agricultural production and the Terroirs)
– A Representation of the World and Human Activity axis: inform and inform on the professions inherent to the Heritage (culture and soil).

A final restitution bringing together, at the end of the project, the three partner countries in France in 2022, will give rise to an opening intended to give an account of all the work of pupils, of all the productions, of a pooling of human resources, technical, human and economic which made the project possible.

Relying on the organizational involvement of the students, an international forum for heritage professions will also be able to complete this closing event thanks to the precious collaboration of institutional and cultural partners, companies and representatives of the various professional training organizations requested during the training project. and doing student work.
