Project Summary
Everybody heard of Monopoly game, didn’t they? So everybody knows that it is a miniature version of the path an entrepreneur has to follow to achieve success. Monopoly has been around for over a century and we’ve had various versions – in our project we are going to prepare brand-new one called Erasmus+ Monopoly game.
The objectives of the project are:
1. to develop creativity and innovation,
2. to develop critical thinking, motivation, goal setting, ability to influence/lead, exploration, inquiry,
3. to develop students knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and sense of initiative,
4. to increase level of digital competence,
5. to improve foreign language skills.
The results:
We are also going to provide that these results could be used in partner schools in the future.
Students will make brand – new version of Monopoly game – Erasmus+ Monopoly which comes not only in a box but also as the Life -sized one.
The following results will be preapred during the course of the project:
1. History of Monopoly board game, its variety, rules, aims.
2. Design tokens, money, credit cards, chance cards and the layout of board itself.
3. Design forty spaces of the board – 10 will be the most popular landmarks in the EU, 10 will be streets named after the most prominent Europeans, 8 will be places based on popular European brands, 8 will be the most needed businessess and/or institutions, 3 will be Chance spaces, and a Luxury Tax space.
4. The rules of Erasmus+ Monopoly.
5. The sets of Erasmus+ Monopoly game.
6. Erasmus+ monopoly competitions in our schools.
7. The Life size Erasmus+ Monopoly game and common play on the last meeting.
