Project Summary

Project “New Answers for Youth – Better Future for Europe” is with duration 18 months. (06.03.2017 – 05.09.2018г.)
The project creates space and opportunity for non-traditional cooperation in the field of youth work, with high potential for widespread impact, involving in partnership not only youth organizations but also public authorities at local and regional level carring out activities that are transversal to different fields. In addition, the included youth organizations operate and achieve results in different areas of youth work. Bringing together actors from different directions itself adds value to organizations and individuals involved, but also opens youth work to new wider dimensions of impact and reinforces links between policy, research & practice.
The primary goal of the project is to stimulate the cooperation between this diverse range of partners in order to allow them to explore, share, analyze and upgrade ideas, experience, know-how, best practices and methods in youth work and dealing with hard-to-reach groups. The idea is to support the joint development of new integrated approach and model of youth work focusing on sharing and developing effective set of methods in reaching out to and working with young people with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities, in particular those facing economic obstacles, those coming from rural/underdeveloped areas, and those with cultural differences belonging to a national /ethnic minority with a view to foster their inclusion and employability.
Overall objective: to stimulate the improvement of the quality and accessibility and to update the techniques of the work related to disadvantaged youth in order to facilitate their social and economic integration in the new environment in Europe through enhanced cooperation between organizations with different profile and role in the youth field and joint development of new integrated approaches and models of work
Specific objectives
-To provide opportunities for deeper cooperation, exchange of good practices and innovative solutions in the work related to disadvantaged youth between partner organizations active both in the youth field and in other activities transversal to different fields
-To create space and opportunities for jointly development of new open integrated approach and models of working with disadvantaged young people to motivate and build their competencies for social activity and integration into the labor market
-To support the capacity enhancement of youth workers and professionals dealing with young people in relation to strengthening their role as support structures for disadvantaged youth and for the subsequent application of the examined best practices and the developed new approaches
-To provide open resources for stimulating and organizing the follow-up activities of youth workers in the provision of attractive forms of extracurricular activities and engagement in leisure time for disadvantaged youth that support the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills.
