Project Summary
Sports play a crucial role in European societies, as they not only beneficial to the health and well-being of people but also have a strong economic effect on the continent. Surrounded by different nations, diverse preferences can be seen concerning types of sport. Hiking, cycling, running and swimming, however, seem to be the most usual sports. More than half of men and women over the age of 55 years do not do any sports in Europe. In contrast, more than half of men and women between the age of 15 and 24 years exercise or play sport with at least some routine.
To bring up this subject and to demonstrate the integration opportunities of sport to pupils with bullying background is the objective of our project. A mix of non-formal activities about Europe, the European Union and their institutions and sort activities shall be designed to develop and implement joint activities to promote sport and physical activity, as well as deal with bullying and foster tolerance and social inclusion. This project is designed to encourage sporting activity, implement EU strategies for social inclusion and equal opportunities, and contribute to the implementation of the European Sport in schools.
Objectives of the project are;

The EU strategy for education and training until 2020 focusses on lifelong learning and mobility, the quality and efficiency of education, equality and innovation. Sport is a tool to provide inclusion, equity, social cohesion as indicated ET2020. Even we live in different countries, Sport unites us and promote inclusion. We plan to use this power to stop bullying in our schools that will be a Fairplay. We will play against bullying. During the project, we will use heuristic learning methods and game-based learning methods.
We are 6 different countries(TR, HU, SI, RS, SK, IT)that are experienced in sports and have bullying cases at school and out between students. We came together for the project will last 2 years. There will be 6 Short-term exchanges for pupils aged 14-18.LTTs will be with 5 students(only C1 with 4 pupils) and 2 teachers from each partner(30 students with obstacles). During the competitions/races pupils will be motivated by heuristic learning methods such as awards, gadgets, gifts. Thanks to the heuristic learning methods and game-based learning methods (demonstrations, competitions, matches…) we will achieve our objectives with:
C1=Archery(Turkey)activities
C2=Floorball(Slovenia)activities
C3=Bocce(Italy) activities
C4=Canoe, KAYAK(Hungary)activities
C5=Fire-fighting (Slovakia)activities
C6=Basketball(Serbia)activities
Each LTT activity to our project activities (meetings, matches, competitions, LTTs, seminars…) will supply
*to change best practices on European Sport
