Project Summary
The project entitled. ‘Shake up start ups’ aims to promote education in the field of entrepreneurship and promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship in society, youth work and work with youth from abroad .Project results allow young entrepreneurs to more easily shape their business ideas, not only on improving basic skills, but also transversal skills such as entrepreneurship, digital skills, multilingualism.
All project activities were implemented in cooperation with the 4 partners in the project:
-Gmina Kielce / Kielce Technology Park (leader, Kielce, Poland)
– Association for Education through the Internet (Kielce, Poland)
-Local Razvojna agencija Pins (Skrad Croatia)
-Radosas Idejas / Creative Ideas (Balvi, Latvia).
Referring to the objectives of the project stored in the application, during the period covered by this report, the partnership Shake up start-ups, has implemented the following actions:
– We promoted entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship and social activity, including issues related to the internationalization of youth work – by working in partnership; each of the organizations involved in the project is actively working with young people.
– By the partnership, the study visit, the project meeting and work on the result of intellectual output, ie. The method of non formal education aimed at young people have developed the basic and transversal skills (such as entrepreneurship, digital skills and language skills); our work takes place by means of innovative methods of non education and pedagogical approach, which puts the student in center, not the teacher or lecturer, also worked on the development of appropriate methods of assessment and certification of our work.
– In addition, thanks to the cooperation of the partnership, the study visit and work on a method of non-formal education aimed at young people, opened on intersectoral cooperation (partnership project brings together creative non-governmental organizations working for and with young people and technology park; the institution of business environment; budgetary unit of the city) professionalisation of youth workers, who by working in the project can acquire and broaden their skills through the development of new and innovative ways of working, they had moreover the opportunity to learn from the best practices presented by the other partners, which further distributed them in their local communities partners.
During the project following events took place:
– 3 international project meetings (TPM), which were aimed at, among others, monitoring the progress of the development outcome of intellectual output and developing the non formal academy of entrepreneurship handbook, make the necessary arrangements for the management, financing, establishing a timetable for individual meetings and project activities.
– 2 events of the series: Short training programs for youth workers; C1 (Kielce, Poland, seat of Kielce Technology Park and Association Education by the Internet, the project partners) and C2 (Riga, Latvia, the seat of the Latvian project partner Society Creative Ideas) .
– Blended mobility for youth, during which there was a testing of non formal entrepreneurship methodology, C3 (Croatia)
Project events were attended by key people involved in the project (including experts), and their purpose was to support the dissemination of best practices presented by the project partners in order to develop intellectual output. Visits to organizations and partner countries have given an opportunity to exchange information, experiences and ideas in the field of entrepreneurial skills, ICT and language skills of youth. Our participants showed a lot of new ideas for our activities and organizations, to help introduce and develop new methods and approaches to services, innovative ways of learning, wider training offers or services. Events definitely strengthened partnership, through the exchange of experience, establish contacts and dissemination of results of research and development work outside the formal academy of entrepreneurship.
The result and the result of the work of the project is to guide non-formal entrepreneurship academy, which includes best practices, lesson plans, as well as methods and tools useful in working with young people. Thanks to cooperation with foreign partners, we have created a kind of model in support of non formal education. It’s dedicated to teachers and all those who every day care about the development of young people, have a huge impact on their lives and help in their choice of future career paths. Manual is dedicated to the people interested in developing their own career paths and thinking about business.
