Project Summary

Six partners are involved in this project. The common point to all the participants is the need of cultural opening. Thereby our choice went to a selection of schools gathering all the main geographical areas of Europe, allowing us to discover different and diversified pedagogic methods towards the pupils. So, we wish implicating all the ages of primary education, in urban areas as well as in rural ones.
We are attached to make our pupils becoming European citizens making them discover different ways of life and making easier their future mobility. Throughout this project, pupils will discover common points and differences between the countries involved. Permanent interaction with partners during the two years will make pupils be in authentic situation of learning and improve their English level.
For teachers, , the point will be to discover other educationnal systems, to enrich their experience discovering new pedagogic methods. It’s iportant for us to take in account the diversity of our pupils and their different type of intelligence in order to implicate all of them in the project discoveries.
Teachers will progress in English and improve their way of teaching it daily.
Each month will be suggested some activities linked to daily way of life of pupils (home, food, typical pupil’s day, games,…). A final product will gather each time all the participants’ work in order that everyone could discover the customs of the others. Thanks to ICT tools, we will be able to improve the exchange in language and about the project organisation.
We wish creating the will, for teachers as well as pupils, to practice English daily and as an habit. We want to lead pupils developping other types of intelligences that the one predominating.
We wish insufflating an European dynamic in our schools and local communities. By giving pupils a huge European dimension, we hope making pupils grow towards their adult life.
This European citizenship is building itself and thanks to this project, we would like to be the actors of it.
