In order to create a more just and safe world, the social and cultural contributions of students and young people to the future must be at the forefront. From another angle, The refugee problem is not just the settlement of refugee citizens or the need to shelter in a country. The problem affects our young people in many other dimensions. Youth is the future of all countries. The recent immigration of the refugee population and the consequent problems of the immigration phenomenon in Europe are growing. Because, Belgium EU capital, Turkey-Romania-Italy, Spain and Portugal came by sea and land, the people who left their land are strategic destination with the search for a better future. All these countries are not only “target countries” for refugees, but also “transitional countries” to Europe. However, in addition to the bureaucratic, legal and socio-economic problems, doubts, prejudices and stereotypes about refugees are the invisible aspect of the iceberg.
The project is designed to stimulate interest in students, young people and the public for the complex problems of refugees and the search for solutions for these problems. Furthermore, it is desirable to emphasize the importance of being an active citizen with the individual character of a cultured society, ready to be able to overcome the prejudices and stereotypes more consciously. European schools, local institutions and humanitarian aid organizations aim to encourage co-operation in a coherent, equitable and equitable message of integration.
