Project Summary

“SET YP” activity plan contributes generally to achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy , Youth on the Move and objectives of the Commission in the field of social entrepreneurship, e.g. Entrepreneurship2020 Action Plan, The Social Business Initiative, . ‘SET YP’ will develop structured and innovative solutions towards increasing employability potential of young people throughout providing them with knowledge on social entrepreneurship & innovation – business where profit is not playing central. To achieve this, our project proposes to implement three intercontinental learning mobility activities, number of local activities for unemployed youth in each project partner country (5 EU & 5 non-EU based partners from three continents) and a competition on national levels, joint youth workers’ effort on elaboration of the training module on social entrepreneurship & innovation later uploaded on a self-sustainable e-learning platform, thanks to which the project outputs are not limited to project partner countries and its lifetime. “SET YP” specific objectives are:• Build capacity of the partnership in the field of social entrepreneurship and SI education, facilitate the transfer of best practices and boost human capital of consortium throughout learning mobility;• Build capacity of the partnership in the field of non-formal learning methods applied to youth with fewer opportunities, in particular in the field of applying gamification approach to organization of learning process;• Increase employability potential of youth with fewer opportunities throughout fostering their transversal skills and providing them with knowledge on social entrepreneurship & innovation;• Develop comprehensive training module on innovation education and e-learning platform sustainable beyond the ‘SET YP’ lifetime;• Encourage cooperation &networking between youth work and social business sector on national & international levels;• Promote entrepreneurship and social economy development worldwide & European policies & activities in the field of social economy, in particular European Social Innovation Competition; • Promote Youth on the Move and Erasmus+ programme, its opportunities, especially outside EU. The youth workers participating in the project will obtain skills and competences allowing them to increase own proficiency in organizing NFE activities for their target groups as well as they will boost personal knowledge on social entrepreneurship. The consortium will immediately increase own capacity in terms of social entrepreneurship education, using new approaches in NFE and building cooperation with social business sector. The youth organizations and young people around the world will have free access to the training modules on how to enter social business sector. In the long run the project will contribute to better understanding of global economy transformation and necessity to boost social business sectors in Europe and worldwide.
