Project Summary
The “+ Employability” project is a KA2 Strategic partnership project supporting Innovation, under the Erasmus+ program, revolving around a set of activities which focus on enhanced competences of youthworkers working with youth in the field of employability and to obtain a toolbox useful wirh different resources in supporting daily work with employability issues.
The general aim of the project is increase quality and impact of youthwork in the field of employability. The project has the following objectives:
– to improve competences of youthworkers in the use of NonFormalEducation to enhance young people’s employability
– to improve competences of youthworkers in designing and implementing educational activities focusing on increase employability related competences
– to improve competencies of organizations in using Erasmus+ as a tool for increasing employability
– to strengthen competences of youthworkers in creating, offering and conducting activities involving young people with fewer opportunities and multicultural groups;
– to share good practices among partner organizations and improve the quality of youth work in the field of employability
During the different meetings, office work, local level youthwork activities and transnational training events, participants from partner countries will contribute in the creation of new NFE material, methods, approaches, focused on youth empowerment and development of employability of young people which will be collected during the training course and shared online afterwards.
All the activities will be based on active participation and non formal education methods such as focus group, brainstorming, simulation, role games with the aim to facilitate group dynamics, learning and sharing of best practices. Participants will contribute in the creation of adapted NFE material, methods, approaches, focused on youth empowerment and development of employability.
Following our project’s activities, we would like to have the following Intellectual outputs:
– A web platform that centralizes all materials created during the project
– An « Employability Toolbox » which will contain a guide for youthworkers in employability, video tutorials on employability activities with youth, two educational games –a boardgame and a role playing interactive game.
The work in this project will bring innovation and up to date work methodologies, innovative tools to work in employability (whether working with youth, refugees, disadvantaged persons) with workshops, activities and support material to tackle the beforehand communicated problems, in supporting increase of employability.
