Project Summary
The year 2018 is dominated by the European Cultural Heritage. The month of November focuses specifically on our religious past. As CSG Prince Maurits we were asked by the directors of Etablissement Scolaire Privé Daniel from the Elzas (France), Liceul Teoretic ‘Constantin Noica’ in Sibiu (Romania) and Szentendrei Reformatus Gimnazium (Hungary) to play a pioneering role in facilitating teacher to develop roles and skills essential to provide christian education. To this end, CSG Prins Maurits wants to use the Diploma Christian Secondary Education co-developed by her with Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (CHE). This program will be made specifically based on the theme of European Cultural Heritage and our religious past, in which CHE assesses the teacher training on quality and then certifies it on the basis of the portfolio submitted by the lecturers involved. The portfolio of the teachers involved is aimed at the development of seven SBL competences:
1. Pedagogically competent
2. Subject-specific and didactically competent
3. Interpersonal competent
4. Organisationally competent
5. Competent in collaboration with colleagues
6. Competent in working with the environment
7. Competent in reflection and development
Subsequently, the results and products of the teacher training will be used to share these with about 200 other international teachers at an ACSI teachers conference. SLB competence 6 in conversation about the Christian identity of the school with people or institutions in the vicinity of the school, also the results and products of the teacher training will be published via the means of publication of the I&K network, Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, Internal academy from CSG Prins Maurits and through the PM Academy aimed at external parties and stakeholders and where possible offer this training elsewhere.
