Project Summary
This project seeks to tackle two of the biggest questions in the lives of young people in Europe today:
“How do I and we relate to the environment”, and “What does it mean to be a teenager in Europe?”
By engaging students from three partner schools in three different countries, a broad range of perspectives will be raised as regards these topics.
To build this understanding, classes in each of the countries will engage in eTwinning activities, discussing subtopics within our themes to build up a deep base of knowledge.
By undertaking exchange visits, a group of approximately 5 students from each schools will gain first-hand knowledge and experiences of the topics in each of the partners countries. This will allow the students to come home with diverse experiences on the topic to share with their classmates.
This project is hoped to allow each student to gain a real cultural insight into how other European countries are dealing with key environmental and social issues, all through the prism of foreign languages. This can only help to build longer-term cross-border cooperation and understanding.
