Our project aims to develop the personal potential of 300 students through art, for a better integration in a heterogeneous society. The horizontal priorities are the Social and Educational Value of the Cultural Patrimnoine and Social Inclusion.
The project aims to form the consciousness of belonging to a common culture for 300 students, 6 schools, for 2 years, to develop artistic skills in painting, theater, music, dance, to promote the European cultural heritage, inclusion disadvantaged groups, developing social skills, working in multicultural teams, using art as a link, promoting French, developing the European dimension of schools, strengthening skills.
The project is aimed at 300 pupils aged 14 to 18, 6 schools in Europe, with integration problems, from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds, at risk of social exclusion. Personal development through art aims to motivate students to participate actively in life
to express oneself in a positive and pacifist way, to understand social, ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity. At the same time, access to heritage must broaden the horizons of students, open their minds, cultivate acceptance and tolerance towards others.
We offer 38 different activities for the development of artistic skills, to find research instruments, to discover and promote national and European cultural heritage.
We offer 6 Learning Activities for young people, in order to share the needs and solutions at once, to share the elements of heritage, to enrich themselves intellectually and emotionally.
We are proposing two project team meetings, at the beginning and at the end of the project, in Bucharest, since the city of Dorohoi is 550 km away from the capital and the difficulty of getting there by videoconference, according to the school curriculum (aspects: project management, stages, activities, objectives, finalities, forms of evaluation, dissemination and multiplication, certification, interim and final report).
We organize 12 evaluation activities to observe the respect of the calendar, the level of achievement of the objectives, the results obtained, the level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries. In March and June each school completes evaluation sheets and intermediate reports.
We will organize 15 dissemination activities of the project, for moments of the development, the target audiences and different objectives.
The expected results are: 300 students from 6 European schools know and promote the elements of national cultural heritage and
300 pupils have artistic skills in 5 fields of art, 100% of the pupils of each partner school have access to instruments of research and personal development, at least 50 pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds participate in the activities of the European project, they demonstrate social skills and work in multicultural teams, the increase of interest in the French language, seen as a language of access to culture and civilization, interpersonal relations, the promotion of principles such as equality, tolerance, intercultural respect.
We will create the project on Etwinning, the project blog, evaluation sheets, the Project Diary, The logbook-form of mobility evaluation addressed to students, the final product “Modern Youth in the face of diversity / vs / discovering through art “-Report of student testimonials on the impact, 6 volunteering actions, 3 artistic workshops.
The impact of the project affects students, schools, teachers, local and regional communities, parents of students.
Students develop their personal potential using universal forms of communication that convey moral and educational values. They ensure social inclusion in a thriving society, where art, a strong and well-constructed personality, sensitivity to others, the knowledge of similarities and differences and their richness, the European consciousness are unique and truly precious instruments for us.
