Project Summary
THINK DIVERSE! project aims to develop creative skills in adult education, in a historical period seeing more and more people forced to change jobs and career paths. This need also applies to many young people under 35, who struggle to enter a job market requiring transversal “soft” skills, in addition to specific technical skills.
Creativity can be a valuable element in promoting learning, improving job search opportunities and facilitating career transitions.
The general objective of the project is to integrate Key Competence 8 “Competence relating to cultural awareness and expression” in the Adult Education sector, promoting awareness on the theme of Diversity.
Specific objectives are:
1. To boost the competences of adult-education professionals by developing creative skills, also with reference to diversity management.
2. To develop creative skills in adults working in social promotion and diversity fields.
3. To raise awareness on the relevance of creative skills for the target groups.
4. To experiment innovative practices in the training field.
5. Create a new model of collaboration between companies specializing in research / training and artistic-creative organizations.
A minimum of 30 teachers and trainers in adult education will be the PRIMARY TARGET of the intervention. They will gain innovative tools, useful to both promote the inclusion of creativity and educate on its management.
The secondary recipients (FINAL BENEFICIARIES) will be a minimum of 30 adults under 35, who will benefit from using the Toolkit, developing a new approach to diversity and becoming the first catalysts of an innovative path of education for social inclusion.
