Project Summary

This project mobilized 4 schools for which international opening is a priority: Maurice Genevoix high school (France), Benjamin Franklin high school (France), Vittorio Emanuele II high school (Italy) and Zespol Szkol Gastronomiczno-Hotelarskich high school (Poland).
It brought together students and teachers from our technological and professional sectors around a territorial marketing project.
Young people aged 15 to 20, living in very different territories, discovered and shared their respective family, cultural and tourist environments. Supervised by teams of multidisciplinary teachers, they created marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with tourism professionals.

The beneficiaries of the project belong to modest economic and social categories, mainly young girls for Italy and Poland. Very few had ever traveled to another country. Some of them had never visited tourist attractions in their own territories.

For our learners, the objectives were :
– to arouse a greater interest in the European space so that they perceive it as a territory rich in its diversity and as an opportunity for their future academic or professional careers. The challenge was to remove the prejudices and psychological barriers against mobility,
– to transmit knowledge and skills on the basis of a different experience, more motivating for students who need a concrete approach,
– to put them in contact with professionals,
– to bring them closer to European institutions.

For our schools and our teaching teams, the objectives were:
– to increase the influence and attractiveness of our schools and technological sectors,
– to motivate teams of teachers willing to enrich and exchange their teaching practices.
