Project Summary

The aim of project activities is to make students aware of the need and meaning of a conscious learning process in order to extract the individual’s potential and define the path of development. The contemporary approach to the educational process changes the perspective of “teaching” to “learning students”. In this connection, the role of the school and the teacher is also changing, which as a teacher, mentor organizes this process and supports. Thanks to this, the student learns through commitment and through commitment, stimulating cognitive curiosity and internal motivation. In addition, he / she learns and develops (knowingly) individual learning preferences. What’s more, he perceives the lesson as a coherent act of learning and teaching, in which he himself co-author of success and co-decides about the area. Project partners are actively involved in the idea of ​​conscious development resulting from the individual’s needs. The contemporary student must be prepared in many ways for the world to function, ie to observe, search for information, analyze, make decisions, communicate, and not only have detailed and encyclopedic knowledge. In connection with the above, the project aims to improve, enrich and develop new perspectives for people working with youth, and above all for young people themselves. As well as present science as an instrumental value in extending the scope of competences necessary in further education, in the labor market and, consequently, in the general functioning of the person.

The main goal is to exchange best practices in the context of the learning process and increase its effectiveness.

Detailed objectives:
– develop skills in organizing own learning and working process
– development of intrinsic attitudes, proactivity, sharing own initiative and willingness to contribute among students
– dissemination of the concept of lifelong learning among students and teachers
– arousing curiosity among teachers to search for alternative teaching methods
– increasing knowledge of the learning process and related skills among students
– development of an entrepreneurial spirit in students
– increasing students’ self-esteem and belief in their own abilities
– increasing students’ awareness about the benefits of intercultural education and foreign language learning
– increasing the competence of the community, such as working in an international environment and increasing the skills of working in a group
– making project participants aware of intercultural differences and opportunities that result from them

Quantitative results:
– international mobility through a total of 42 school students involved in the project
– participation of 6 teachers in mobility
preparation of 3 scenarios of classes aimed at dissemination of an active learning process in the context of two any basic subjects and a foreign language (the workshops will aim at launching the “peer to peer” learning and ICT method)
– creation 5 short films presenting methods, tools and techniques used in the learning process depending on the country of origin,
– preparation of a multimedia presentation presenting differences between countries, as well as presenting good practices of individual countries
– preparation of an exhibition presented in partner schools on the importance of a conscious learning process
