Project Summary
Aim of this project is empowering young people for articulation of their interests and needs by using different models, mechanisms and techniques.General objective is that improved capacities of youth workers, so that they can create and manage serious advocacy and lobbing campaigns for the youth polices on local and regional level. This will be achieved throughout following specific objectives: – Education and empowerment of 35 youth workers from WB countries, Croatia and Turkey, in creation and management of advocacy campaigns for polices that concern youth throughout activities carried out in a period of 10 months. – Exchange of experience among representatives of eight countries, and identifying its key aspects with regards to participation of young people in the policy making.- Raised awareness of youth in the WB countries and the EU about the EU standards of youth participation and active citizenship.Project activities are following:A1 Project steering committee as one of the project activities will be established, with role to coordinate all preparation activities with project partners, as well to create methods and modes project activities implementation regarding all aspects cultural, economic and social, and as well will be in charge for monitoring and evaluation of project implementation. A1.1.1. Partnership agreement – signed among partners will be signed on the first meeting, to ensure division of roles and quality of the implementation process. A2 Training seminar on youth policy advocacy and lobbying campaignsCore of the project represents training for the youth workers on topic of advocacy and lobbying campaigns for youth policies. This training aims to enhance skills of 35 youth workers form WB countries Croatia and Turkey on topic of advocacy and lobbying campaigns for youth policies. The training will last five (5) working days.The working methods will be discussions, work in pairs, small and big groups, interactive teaching, role-playing games, icebreakers, team-building, power point presentation, intercultural and other parties, energizers, daily evaluations, etc.Participants will have also opportunity to visit Montenegrin National Parliament and to get to know with its assembly halls, as well as the history and functioning of the Parliament of Montenegro legal framework etc.A3 Creation of the “patch-book” brochure with materials form the training (consisted of brainstorming ideas of the participants, advices of experts and that will represent informal guide for youth advocacy campaigns).A4 Dissemination of project resultsSteering committee will be responsible for the dissemination of the project results, according to the dissemination plan adopted by the committee. A4.1 Facebook page of the project – For the purpose of project results dissemination, Facebook page of the project will be created, which will be updated in a timely manner, and where will be possible to find all the details about the project.
