Project Summary
After the two contact persons of this bilateral partnership encountered on School Education Gateway and the eTwinning platform and with the intention on the behalf of Lithuanian teachers to job shadow English Foreign Language classes at Lycée Jules Verne by benefiting from an Erasmus+ Key Action 1, a French and Lithuanian high school enlarged their collaboration with an Erasmus+ school exchange in order to have more teachers and pupils collaborate in their schools. By exchanging on their local cultural heritage the participants discovered that their two nations had a period in common. Thus the objectives were to discover their two countries through cultural heritage by focusing on the 19th century and the heritage left by Napoleon in Europe. The outputs highlighted their mutual history by concentrating on the 1812 year and the Napoleonic conquests. The participants of the two schools produced multilingual leaflets in English, French and Lithuanian, augmented reality effects from the places investigated in France and Lithuania and mentioned in the leaflets to relive this part of their history and make the past back to our modern time.
