Project Summary
EUYOUTH4HEALTH wants to provide with elements for improving, enhancing and enriching the training programmes that VET institutes and educators developed in the field of health promotion. By creating an innovative programme addressing unemployed people aged between 23 and 30 and targeting digital communication and marketing and development of partnerships with SMEs and public agencies working in the field of health prevention, the project will allow VET providers to transfer significant and relevant skills to the final beneficiaries (i.e., unemployed people) of their activities.
In this sense, the project wants to achieve the following objectives:
1. Pave the way for a better integration of groups of unemployed people (aged between 23 and 30) in the today job market, by working together on a definition and validation of a CV addressing skills gap in digital communication and marketing strategies for health prevention.
2. Increase and update knowledge of groups of unemployed people by providing them with a new set of skills very useful for the today job market, particularly in their cities and countries.
3. Increase the interaction between VET providers, groups of unemployed people and SMEs and public agencies/companies working in the field of health prevention, by creating interaction occasions for them aimed to improve their practices and to communicate more and better with the wider public (i.e., citizens).
By implementing a wide range of activities, the project will produce the following results:
– 1 Market Analysis for 5 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Italy), available in 5 languages (English, French, German, Greek and Italian). These reports will include a context analysis including relevant elements regarding the health prevention sector, a stakeholders mapping, including a list of at least 20 companies (public and private) working in the field of health prevention and a list of at least 10 worst and best practices regarding digital communication and promotion strategies and measures.
– 1 call for applications per each country (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Italy) aimed to involve participants in the project’s activities. For each country, the project will engage at least 15 people, aged between 23 and 30, respecting gender equality principles (aiming to reach the 50-50% target gender proportion) and bringing together people coming from different background and social conditions (at least 5 people per country, meaning 30% of the participants, will belong to the category of NEETs). In total, the project will involve at least 75 training participants.
– 1 cycle of training programme for 5 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Italy) regarding digital communication and promotion strategies for companies working in the field of health prevention. For each country, one cycle of lessons will be formed by 3-hours weekly lessons delivered in 5 months’ time, for a total of 60 hours of training per cycle .
– The delivery of pilot projects, where training participants (with the support of trainers and project’s partners) will organise training sessions for SMEs working in the health sector aimed to design and release digital communication strategies. For each country, each training cycle will produce at least 5 strategies created by groups of minimum 3 students. During the final conference, the most interesting and promising strategies (1 per country, for a total of 5 winners) will be awarded.
– The organisation of 1 transnational workshop where groups of training participants will meet for discussing about the content of the training they are following and the different engagement strategies they want to deploy for involving in the project the SMEs working in the health field.
– The organisation of 6 multiplier events, 1 Info Day in 5 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Italy) and 1 Final Conference in Brussels.
– The release of a Smart Guide, including a sustainability and replication plan, 15 best practices originated by the project’s activities and a series of recommendations for companies, educators and job recruitment/placement agencies.
– 4 info-graphics, 5 short videos (duration of 3 minutes max) and 1 movie (10 minutes max) introducing and promoting the project’s activities and results, together with a wide range of dissemination tools and communication products (please refer to the Dissemination and Use of Projects Results section of this proposal).
