Project Summary
This project comes from a network of partners who had met in previous activities and who has experienced how important and powerful communication is for non profit organisations, especially in the field of youth and non formal education. The project aims at improving communication and ICT capabilities of the organisations involved and plans to develop different communication training modules that will be available on an online platform which is also part of the results that will be developed during the project. It includes trainings for the staff of the partners involved, trainings opened to other organisations, the development of on-line and off-line training modules for youth organisations and nonprofits in general regarding ICT, internal and external communication. The partners and their networks have, to vary degrees, enhanced communication technologies to both develop their internal knowledge base and to communicate experiences and best practice to the broader network of actors. These include, among others, project stakeholders involved in promoting youth volunteer work and informal learning in a broad spectrum of fields/sectors. The latter form of communication and dissemination is also an inherent component of EC policies. Therefore, the project aims to build upon the combined experiences of the project partners and to develop a powerful integrated communication tool to:1. Improve the internal and external communication of organisations;2. Improve efficiency and effectiveness of interventions;3. Improve the monitoring and evaluation capacity of organisations in order to assess the impact of interventions;4. Assist organisations to understand the transversality/horizontal nature of EU policies to ensure complementarity and efficient use of EU funds; and5.Increase the visibility of EU interventions in the area of youth and informal learningThe partners involved in the project are:P1: ADHC (France)P2: Kora (Italy)P3: Link (Estonia)P4: Intercambia (Spain)P5: CYA (Cambodia)P6: GREAT (Indonesia)P7: My Small Help (Peru)P8: INPRHY – Somoto (Nicaragua)The project will develop an Intellectual Output which will include:1. Training Manuals and Modules on Internal Communication; external communication; Web development; and social media2. Online training module on communication for NGO staff and young people3. Website which aims at becoming reference point for knowledge, tools and learning on communication for NGOs in EuropeThe project will include 3 training activities, reaching 48 staff members of the partner organisations and youth workers. The training will be divided in the four modules mentioned above. The training modules developed will also be made into online training modules accessible free of charge on any device.
