Project Summary

Youth with disabilities(TwD) are among the poorest and most marginalized of all the world’s young population. All the local/national realities made us think how to cooperate with Asian countries in youth field in order to raise their capacity in youth works and NFL methodology in order to involve YwD more effectively. Slovenian and Turkish NGO’s which works with YwD and their relatives will cooperation with Asian Youth NGO’s from Vietnamese and IndonesiaOur project is highly relevant to the “Erasmus + KA2 – Capacity Building in the Field of Youth” programme objectives which are : – foster cooperation and exchanges in the field of youth between Programme and Partner Countries- improve the quality and recognition of youth work- promote transnational NFL mobility between Programme and Partner Countries, especially targeting young people with fewer opportunities, with a view to improving participants’ level of competences and fostering their active participation in society.Project’s target groups are: YwD, non-disabled youngsters who are relatives of youngsters with disability, NGOs and public bodies which are active in disability field. We focus on all actors of the social inclusion and active participation of YwD in society. We believe that the social inclusion and active participation of YwD is a long process and need all actors to work in cohesion. Main Aim of our project is raising the capacity of Youth organizations about the involvement of Youth with disabilities (YwD) in local, National and international youth works in order to improve their active and sustainable participation and to foster the sustainable cooperation between Youth NGO’s from Partner Countries ( Vietnamese, Indonesia) and from Programme countries (Turkey, Slovenia) .This project involves local, national, international meetings, networks, fairs, conferences, trainings and exchange. Round Table Meetings with stakeholders, National trainings with young people, national trainings/activities with relatives. We expect to include 135 participants in each country within these stages. We can say that our project will have impact on diverted and widen group of people.Having reached our project objectives, the partner organizations of our project are going to be more capable to organize high quality events for YwD where higher number of youth will benefit; to be involved more actively in policy making process regards to the good relations they build with the public bodies within the project; to be more efficient in using NFL methods for the personal development of YwD and to think more globally in social matters.
