Project Summary
Project is created based on the previous experience with long-term training for youth workers. Our goal is to support sustainability of this education. We are willing to support this via different ways. One of these is to find the connection and open the discussion between non-formal education and business sector. On the other side we are willing to cooperate with formal education environment and to support them to implement some methods, techniques and approaches of non-formal education into formal education.
One of the ways how we are willing to build the cooperation with business sector is to deliver more long-term educations for youth workers Marker CS vol.4 and Marker vol.5. Education Marker CS is accredited in Czech Republic and Slovakia, too. The education is focus on topic as Personal feedback, logic of education activities, group work and dynamics. We expect 20 participants for each education.
Marker CS was founded by Erasmus+ grant options previously. We would like to change this and find the way how this can be supported by business sector. This can help us to create and set up cooperation for the future. Our idea is to build on the cooperation with business sector for both educations Marker CS vol 4 and Marker CS vol.5. We are willing to start the communication with at least 5 representatives from business sector from each country.
To support overall quality of the youth workers and as a follow-up to Marker CS we plan to deliver short-term workshops with topics Impact and Innovative methods in youth work. These workshops are planned for 20 alumni of Marker CS and experienced youth workers.
Based on the feedback from alumni who were teachers, too, we decided to create one education fully focused on the topics and needs for teachers. We discussed with them what topics are the most valuable for them to implement into formal education. The topics we discussed for now are facilitation, learning activities goal, feedback as a supportive tool for personal development of pupils and students. This education is designed for 20 teachers from both countries overall.
We expect we can support overall quality of youth work and specific youth workers by delivering mentioned educations. Our expectation is the teachers will have the experience and they will be willing to implement some of the methods and techniques within their daily lessons.
On the other side we expect there will be open discussion with business sector. This discussion can help us to be able to identify some common topics and to see what can be offered from involved parties to support youth field. This will be one of the significant benefits – to have this kind of information which can support overall quality of the youth work.
To have the long-term support for Marker CS education is one of the very important for us, too. It will be our first experience with this kind of partner talking about youth worker field.
