Project Summary

The project, “Save the Earth, We Have Nowhere Else To go” is about environmental problems, global climat changes, resulted from the lack of respect for natural environment and unawareness of extreme usages of raw materials and energy and overconsumption. Young people lack entrepreneurial experience and ways of recycling, green energy and using energy efficiently.They are unconscious at managing their time, home budgets and energy usage.The partner schools are in highly migrated areas where energy from renewable sources are not obtained and used effectively and youngsters of which lack of knowledge about recycling, which causes much more environmental destruction. Our motivation to come together is to raise the awareness for the nature. Each partner of the project from different backgrounds has different facilities but shares the same aims as followings.
Students put theory into the practice effectively about energy saving, recycling, and green energy (at home and in community). They make presentations, research works, envirnmental models, team collaboration between different countries students. Student share scientific knowledge and develop entrepreneurial skills, numeracy skills, digital abilities, and multilingualism for them; exchange ideas and practical experience through short-term exchanges; grow their critical and creative thinking skills like problem solving independently through international team work. Important result is making them European awareness and make them more in charge for common European heritage regardless of cultural diversities as all partners have the same goal as responsible European citizens.
In this partnership years ICT skills are growing in each student life, school life and collaboration in social media groups.
Students and teachers English language competences about technical and scientific terminology are better and more creative. Our partnership deepness is knowledge on importance of energy and protecting environment in European countries
There are 5 exchanges. 4 students and 2 accompanying persons in them each in partnership schools. New experience in different geography areas. Activities – workshops, presentations, exhibitions, preparing multilingual dictionary, slogans, mottos, and brochure, environmental posters, competitions of collecting waste, creating bird’s houses, planting trees, creating a hobby garden, the visits like Botanical Garden, ZOO, Ecological Building, Waste Recycling Station during the mobilities, green farms, village houses, historical places, nature parks. Workshops and presentations made by students temas on common environmental issues and entrepreneurial and integrating scientific subjects, waste recycling, global warming, pollution, and renewable energy sources which will enhance the student’s knowledge and the awareness of environment protection. First activity was project logo competition with roll-up banners in partnership schools, A Facebook group is active place with regular connection between partnerschools and sharing in students groups, an eTwinning group, eTwinning online events, A summary video after each short-term exchange, A YouTube channel, A photo gallery, practical objects made of recyclables exhibitions in partnerschools. Students made Instagram groups between them and every day connections, they share ideas. For research works made more then five questionnaires and menticom activities. The methodology of the project: The project is student-based ideas and necessary share their ideas.The all participants are selected according to certain criteria doing jobs and activities about global climat changes, to collect and analyse different countries students opinions, finding similarities and tasks for future.
Important partnership result is Facebook.com group https://www.facebook.com/groups/335106773985412/about with 114 members – students, teachers, parents. All project learning, teaching activities are published, students outputs after events and exchanges activities, presentations, video materials.
