Context
This project follows the framework of our previous Erasmus+ Adults project Learning mobility of individuals with our Belgium (Nos Pilifs) and Portuguese (APCC) partners. We will work with these same partners once more on the disability field, but also with people with disabilities, professionals and family caregiver. Our work will be further enriched by a Canadian partner via The International Network on the Disability Creation Process (INDCP). The thematic will be : “Views 2 Change: A societal project for placing people with disabilities”.
Goals
1- Acces to culture and more specifically to the practice and musical creation – Analyze the creative process in an inclusive approach.
2- Improve the social bond, including emotional life, parenthood, and housing related to the support of people – Analyze the factors that improve a disability situation
3- Allow the practice of a transnational mobility to people with disabilities and accompany them in this journey – Analyze the various means allowing these mobilities
Numbers and profile of the participants
This project involves:
people with disabilities (open to all types of disabilities and all ages)
the caregivers (parents – siblings – entourage…)
the professionals (medico-social – health – education – popular education and human rights movements …)
policies (public policies – elected associative)
the general public
In total, 26 organizations will participate in the Views 2 Change project, including 15 members of the T’Cap network), and 7 associated partners, a total of 26 structures involved in this project. Within these organizations we have, in other : 5 heads of network, 1 international structure, and a university, more than 40 people will work on this program !
The organizations of the medico-social sector and the partners APCC, Ferme des Pilifs and T’Cap network are in touch with people with disabilities and that is how they will take part in the project. We also know family caregivers motivated by the subjects we develop and who will be associated to our work.
Description of activities
We will decline our three areas of work as follows:
common training in the principles and tools for measuring the Disability Production Process
reflections, experiments and information gathering in each of our countries
mobilities to meet, practice, exchange, reflect and produce
transnational intellectual productions
internal and external communication of produced resources and tools
dissemination events to our target groups
promotion and transmission of our resources to the outside
Methodology
A steering committee of the overall program to lead the project – intermediate and thematic steering committees to reflect and produce – a transversal communication group to inform internally and externally.
A multidisciplinary participation (people with disabilities – family caregivers – professionals – politicians).
Result of the expected impacts
Overall we want to improve the place of people with disabilities in our society. That they can express themselves, affirm choices and, if necessary, be accompanied by qualified professionals.
Thanks to the created resources we wish:
to offer people with disabilities greater ease of practice and musical creation, having experienced the conditions of access to these practices
to allow an important reflection and changes in the practices of people accompanying the public with disabilities
trigger a transnational mobility dynamic for people with disabilities
Share these resources namely:
The creative kit for all: about accessing the practice and artistic creation
The social emancipation portfolio: on the themes of affective life – parenthood and accompanied housing
The backpack of mobilities: via the application facilitating these mobilities as well as a starting device
All of wich accessible in open source via the digital collaborative case gathering these resources.
